"Do I Wanna Know ?" de Arctic Monkeys

Alors aujourd'hui les enfants, je vous propose du très très très très bon, mais alors, vraiment très bon. Du groupe, c'est sûrement leur titre le plus connu, je vous l'accorde, j'aurais pu en présenter une autre, mais il faut rendre à César ce qui appartient à César. Cette chanson est supercalifragilistic. Franchement, si vous êtes à la recherche d'un ovni musical, vous avez trouvé votre bonheur !

Alors, que ce soit clair, elle est d'une richesse stylistique énorme, c'est un mélange de Psychédélique, de Blues Rock et de Stone Rock, et le cocktail est d'enfer ! Le rythme des basses très marqué en fond, associé à une mélodie à la guitare absolument fabuleuse, forment un ensemble à la fois entraînant et qui vous plonge dans une espèce de transe. Vous allez me trouver étrange, mais je vous assure que j'ai longtemps réfléchi avant d'écrire ça : c'est un titre très sexy. Mais pas dans le sens où on ferait bien un petit strip-tease dessus, mais dans celui où elle donne confiance en soi. Quand on l'écoute, on a envie de remuer avec langueur sur les notes, je ne saurais vous l'expliquer clairement, mais la sensation qu'il procure est incroyable, surtout avec un bon casque sur les oreilles.

Les paroles ? En elles-mêmes, elles n'ont rien d'absolument original, ce sont une fille et un garçon qui s'aiment bien, mais la fille préfère en jouer plutôt que d'être claire avec notre pauvre petit chanteur. Malgré tout, même si le sujet n'est pas révolutionnaire, le choix des mots est très malin et colle parfaitement avec la musique, et, au final, je me suis retrouvée à adorer le texte aussi. Penchez-vous dessus, et vous verrez à quel point il est bien écrit !

Je peux vous garantir que si vous l'écoutez une première fois, elle va rester bien à sa place dans un coin de votre tête. Tous ses éléments sont géniaux, purement et simplement. Dire que "j'adore" une chanson est toujours compliqué, j'en écoute tellement, mais je crois pouvoir l'affirmer avec celle-ci, elle est magique, elle groove (chut) comme peu d'autres, et...
